Dr. York is responsible for the primary technical direction of the company. He is also Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) with a main research concentration in the area of new architectures and materials for high-frequency electronics, focusing on power amplifiers and thin-film ferroelectrics. Dr. York has led numerous DoD-sponsored research programs at UCSB, and is currently the director and lead investigator on a DARPA FAME (Frequency Agile Materials for Electronics) effort aimed at developing ferroelectrics technology for microwave circuits and systems He has served as a consultant in microwave electronics for several large and small companies in Southern California. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 1991.
